Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced HR Data and Reporting Analyst to support HR Operations in a remote, contract capacity. This role will focus on workforce reporting, data analysis, and operational insights across Workday HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning.

You will collaborate with HRIS and other HR teams, validate data, document definitions, monitor data quality, and respond to time-sensitive data requests while maintaining data security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analyzing HR data and creating actionable reports.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting tools and calculated fields.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, LOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with SQL, Power BI or Tableau a plus.
• Ability to protect confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders to assess reporting needs and translate them into clear, reliable reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc Workday reports, including calculated fields.
• Validate report logic and reconcile data across HR processes.
• Document report definitions, data sources, procedures, and controls.
• Coordinate with HRIS for system configuration requests and security changes.
• Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and drive issue resolution with HR teams.
• Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics and present findings clearly.
• Support audits and compliance-related reporting and respond to time-sensitive requests.
• Test and validate new or revised reports from a business-user perspective.
