Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen HR compliance programs across the organization. This role partners with People Support, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Systems, Safety, Legal, and business leaders to identify risks and implement practical solutions.

This is a hybrid role with remote work options within the United States and some travel. The successful candidate will translate evolving legal requirements into sustainable programs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressively responsible HR experience including leading HR compliance programs and some leadership experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws with ability to apply evolving requirements.
• Experience developing, implementing, monitoring, or improving HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR consultation to operations leaders for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement company-wide HR policies and programs.
• Design and deliver training focusing on compliance and HR topics.
• Conduct audits of HR practices and identify improvement areas.
• Coordinate reporting to meet regulatory requirements and governance needs.
