SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join the Human Resources Team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards & Compliance. The role focuses on managing HR compliance programs, policies, reporting, and processes to ensure alignment with employment laws and regulatory requirements.

Remote position open to several states with periodic travel to Melville, NY; includes full-time exempt status and a defined salary range.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a HR Generalist, HRBP, Employee Relations, or Compliance role.
• Experience managing employee relations matters and conducting workplace investigations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of integrity and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Aufgaben

• Manage employee relations activities for the remote office team including corrective action, performance improvement plans, internal investigations, employee terminations.
• Advise HR and management regarding compliance with state and federal laws and new/pending legislation relating to Compensation, HR, Payroll and Benefits.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PFL, FLI, STD, LTD and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain HR Compliance processes and policies and collaborate with partners across the organization to ensure compliance.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance policies and programs.
• Partner with HR, Fulfillment, Customer Service, and corporate teams in areas of new hire requirements.
