Job summary

Commonpoint Queens hires a Human Resources Business Partner to manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, training, staff development, and HRIS administration across over 80 sites and nearly 3,000 staff.

The role reports to Sr. HR Business Partner and requires collaboration with site managers, on-site support, and travel to Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan. Strong HRIS, confidentiality, and DEI commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a human resources role.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Workday or ADP.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
• Willingness to occasionally travel to offices located in Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding: manage job postings, interview scheduling, and offer coordination.
• Lead end-to-end onboarding across multiple sites for new hires.
• Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork and onboarding materials.
• Monitor onboarding completion and background checks; ensure compliance.
• Evaluate onboarding workflows to reduce time-to-productivity.
