Job summary

Commonpoint Queens (Samuel Field YM and YWHA) is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support day‑to‑day HR operations across multiple sites in Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

You will lead onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HRIS administration, staff development, and data reporting, reporting to the Sr. HR Business Partner, with emphasis on discretion, accuracy, and timely, mission‑driven support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional HR experience.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Workday or ADP.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding responsibilities across multiple sites.
• Support employee relations, investigations, and resolution tracking.
• Maintain and update HR records in HRIS; run routine reports.
• Coordinate training sessions and staff development initiatives.
• Serve as HR liaison for program sites; provide on-site support.
• Coordinate offboarding processes and exit procedures.
