State of Minnesota - MN St Colleges & Universities is seeking a versatile HR Benefits Specialist to plan and deliver HR Insurance and Retirement processes across the Minnesota State system. You will audit benefits workflows, oversee training delivery, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and bargaining agreements.

This full-time, remote-eligible role emphasizes independence, high-volume task management, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with health insurance plans, ACA, and defined contribution plans.
• Strong written communication for policies, reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of HR Insurance and Retirement processes for Minnesota State employees.
• Audit HR service center work related to HR benefits for quality and accuracy.
• Oversee development and delivery of training and resources for HR benefits processes.
• Ensure compliance with benefits laws, rules, and bargaining agreements; advise management on labor relations.
