The University of Minnesota is hiring an HR Contact Center Representative to deliver front-line service to current and former employees on HR, payroll, and benefits topics. You will handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person, guiding enrollment, retirement options, and policy questions.

Location is Minneapolis, MN with hybrid work on campus. The role supports HR processes, engages in training, and contributes to events such as Open Enrollment and New Employee Welcome.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Human Resources/Benefits, Health, Retirement, Counseling, or related field; or 4+ years combined education/experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google docs, and HRMS systems.
• Strong commitment to professional customer service to clients.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line client support via phone, email, and in person.
• Advise current and former employees on payroll, retirement, benefits, and HR policies.
• Answer questions on eligibility, enrollment, and plan provisions.
• Collaborate with benefits teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge on retirement programs and contribution limits.
• Assist with transitions to Medicare options and leaves of absence.
• Use CRM for case management and meet service levels.
• Contribute to training and process improvement initiatives.
