Sedgwick is seeking a Housing Support Specialist to coordinate and manage lease extensions and ongoing housing support for displaced policyholders in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

This role ensures housing continuity by proactively managing extensions, resolving in-stay issues, and maintaining strong communication between insureds, adjusters, and landlords, delivering elevated service with urgency and professionalism.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years of experience in leasing, property management, customer service or account management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with empathy.

Mansioni

• Support and promote Sedgwick’s mission, strategic vision, and value proposition to adjusters and policyholders.
• Serve as a key contact for adjusters and landlords during relocation, ensuring clear expectations and empathetic support.
• Manage the full lease extension process including approvals and updates with landlords and vendors.
• Proactively monitor lease expirations to prevent service interruptions and ensure continuity of housing.
• Coordinate and resolve in-stay service requests including furniture exchanges and maintenance.
• Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and vendors to execute timely solutions and extensions.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to property conditions, damages, and vendor performance.
• Maintain accurate financial and operational records, update client ledgers, track extension costs, and manage move-out coordination.
• Document all communication and actions in internal systems with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify risks or delays and escalate with urgency.
• Maintain a high-touch service model for VIP or complex claims.
• Handle multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
