The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, empathy, and multitasking skills, along with experience in leasing or real estate and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience in leasing, real estate, customer service, or account management.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of calming distressed clients with professionalism and compassion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at learning new housing and CRM platforms.
• Advanced internet research capabilities to locate viable rental properties in limited markets.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong documentation habits and multitasking ability.
• Negotiation and relationship management with vendors, property managers, and landlords.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate housing for displaced policyholders with empathy and urgency.
• Qualify housing needs by gathering details about lifestyle, household makeup, accessibility, pets, and amenities.
• Conduct market research using listings, vendor databases, and internal tools to locate viable options.
• Collaborate with housing vendors, landlords, and leasing agents to secure short-term rentals.
• Negotiate favorable lease terms and maximize policy benefits within ALE guidelines.
• Customize housing options aligning with policy coverage and insured expectations.
• Maintain high-touch service and support lease extensions and service needs.
• Draft and review lease agreements with attention to policy compliance.
• Enter accurate data in housing databases and CRM tools.
• Stay informed of local rental trends, landlord regulations, and best practices.
• Handle multiple claims and assignments with professionalism and urgency.
• Serve as the point of contact for VIP clientele.
