Job summary

CPSI seeks a detail-driven Hospital Payment Posting Specialist to join our remote team. You will post payments across patient accounts, research unclear receipts, and ensure postings balance to daily bank deposits.

The role requires 3+ years of hospital posting experience, CPT/ICD-10 coding familiarity, and strong written/verbal communication. You will handle denials, maintain logs, and support cross-functional projects while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hospital payment posting experience, including time outside TruBridge.
• Experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong written and verbal skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Post payments to patient accounts and make notes for follow-up.
• Balance daily postings with site deposits and reconciling entries.
• Process denials and resubmissions to insurance carriers.
• Maintain log of daily receipts and postings.
• Protect patient information and ensure confidentiality.
