Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Patient Account Representative to perform the payment posting function for the MSO under supervision. You will post deposits, payments, denials and adjustments, and reconcile batches. You must maintain patient confidentiality and work well in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience; CPT/ICD-9 knowledge is a plus, with familiarity of Athena/Waystar/Phreesia/EPIC systems. Benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience and general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty reimbursement.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Post deposits, payments, denials and adjustments.
• Reconcile manual and electronic batches.
• Perform duties with attention to patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
