Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking Seasonal Application Readers to conduct holistic reviews of undergraduate applications within a highly selective admissions process. You will assess curriculum rigor, achievements, and context while upholding Georgetown’s values and review standards.

This part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) is primarily remote with hybrid options and requires strong analytical judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to meet deadlines during the October–March review period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex information.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic, contextual reviews of undergraduate applications using Georgetown’s admissions criteria.
• Evaluate academic preparation, intellectual curiosity, and personal contributions within context.
• Apply institutional standards consistently across all assigned applications.
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported written evaluations.
• Participate in training and calibration to ensure alignment with review standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity.
• Meet productivity expectations and adhere to review timelines.
