Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a HIM Call Center Representative to serve as the ambassador for the HIM department and myChart support. You will guide patients on obtaining medical records and answer questions about the app, while recording requests and posting payments to release of information.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patient service, and compliance within a remote position limited to certain U.S. states.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in health information management, physician office, clinical or hospital business office, or applicable college education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador and voice for ProMedica’s HIM and myChart support.
• Explain the process for obtaining medical records to patients.
• Assist myChart users with questions about the app.
• Keep a record of all requests and post payments to release of information about patient accounts.
