Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Remote Document Imaging Clerk to support HIM Operations. You will upload external records, index data in the EHR, and route documents to clinicians while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include identifying missing documentation, correcting deficiencies, and assisting clinicians with record completion. Requires attention to detail and ability to learn new software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with Epic, OnBase, and related HIM software preferred.
• Ability to learn new software systems and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Upload/index outside records using assigned software and route to clinicians.
• Create or select correct patient, encounter, and order in the EHR.
• Identify missing documentation and communicate deficiencies per regulations.
• Support clinicians with record completion and privacy adherence.
