Job summary

Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders, including the legal and regulatory team, faculty, and staff. The role focuses on collaboration under supervision by University Counsel, handling contracts, Title IX and ADA, IP, privacy, and technology matters for online and in-person programs.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school required.
Strong critical thinking and legal analysis skills are essential.
Experience drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating contracts is expected.
Ability to learn and apply higher education laws and policies.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, revise, and negotiate vendor, technology, and data privacy agreements, including international matters and IP.
Review outgoing student communications for regulatory compliance and best practices.
Provide legal advice on ethical operations and compliance.
Assist with international compliance for a growing international student population.
Support with privacy, GLBA, GDPR, NCAA, FERPA, TCPA, Title VI, and marketing compliance as needed.
Perform legal research and develop educational resources for the institution.
