Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to university stakeholders. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and policies for in-person and online programs, ensuring compliance with laws and University policy.

It is a remote role with limited travel and supervision by University Counsel. The attorney will handle international compliance and provide guidance on privacy, data protection, and regulatory matters across

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
House counsel status in Connecticut is required.
Strong critical thinking and legal analysis skills.
Interest in contract review and key contractual provisions.
Knowledge of higher education laws and policies.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong drafting and negotiating abilities.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of agreements including vendor and technology contracts, partnerships, data privacy, IP, and international matters.
Review outgoing student communications for regulatory compliance.
Provide legal advice on ethics and compliance.
Assist with international compliance for international students.
Support privacy, GLBA, GDPR, NCAA, FERPA, TCPA, Title VI, and related regulatory areas.
Conduct legal research and develop educational resources on legal/regulatory issues.
