Job summary

Post University seeks a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders, supervised by University Counsel. The role focuses on contracts, Title IX and ADA, privacy, technology, and other regulatory matters for in-person and online programs, ensuring compliance with laws and University policy.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
House counsel status in Connecticut is required.

Responsibilities

Drafts, reviews, revises, and negotiates a variety of agreements including vendor and technology agreements, strategic partnerships and data privacy and security, international matters, and intellectual property.
Reviews outgoing group student communications to ensure regulatory compliance.
Provides legal advice related to ethical operations and compliance.
Assists with international compliance for international student population.
Supports privacy, GLBA, GDPR, NCAA, FERPA, TCPA, Title VI, and marketing compliance across the university.
Performs legal research and develops resource material for educational outreach.
