Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Manager to lead turnkey high-voltage substation and interconnection projects in the Midwest portfolio.

You will guide projects from engineering through commissioning, managing EPC contractors, reviews, and stakeholder alignment to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. The ideal candidate has an electrical engineering background, HV design/construction experience, and the ability to influence across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-voltage substation and interconnection projects
• Experience reviewing high-voltage engineering drawings, specs, studies, and construction deliverables
• Knowledge of substation design, construction practices, protection and control systems, and interconnection requirements
• Experience managing EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Knowledge of standards such as NESC, NEC, IEEE, ANSI
• Valid driver's license and legal work authorization in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead high-voltage substation projects from engineering through commissioning and closeout
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk plans, and key deliverables
• Direct EPC contractors, engineering consultants, utilities, vendors and stakeholders for project success
• Lead technical reviews of substation engineering packages and drawings for quality and constructability
• Evaluate high-voltage design documents, studies, and deliverables through project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with company standards and electrical codes for safe execution
• Monitor contractor performance, resolve issues, and enforce contractual requirements
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolutions
• Identify and mitigate project risks with engineering and construction teams
• Provide status updates and recommendations to senior leadership
• Support procurement for major high-voltage equipment and materials
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities across DEPCOM's substation portfolio
