Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc, a Koch company, seeks a High Voltage Project Manager to lead HV substation/interconnection projects in the Midwest. You will drive performance by guiding EPC contractors, reviewing engineering deliverables, and ensuring execution from engineering through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has an electrical engineering background and experience managing HV design, construction, and contractor performance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-voltage substation, transmission, interconnection, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience reviewing high-voltage engineering drawings, specifications, studies, and construction deliverables.
• Knowledge of substation design, construction practices, protection and control systems, and utility interconnection requirements.
• Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to influence technical decisions, manage risk, and align diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV substation and interconnection projects from engineering through commissioning and closeout.
• Drive project performance by managing scope, schedule, budget, risk plans, and deliverables.
• Manage EPC contractors, engineering consultants, utilities, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead technical reviews of substation packages, protection and control designs, equipment specs, and drawings.
• Review and direct HV design documentation, studies, and deliverables throughout the lifecycle.
• Champion safe execution with compliance to standards and codes.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues, ensure contractual and technical adherence.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify risks.
• Collaborate with engineering/construction to mitigate risks and protect schedule.
