• Associate's or Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
• 3–7 years in electrical construction or high-voltage substations.
• Experience with utility/infrastructure projects and estimating or detailing roles.
• Proficiency with the listed software tools and drawings.
• Familiarity with EPC and utility project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and bids.
• Quantify substation components: foundations, steel, grounding, bus, conduit, cable trays, terminations, fencing, site development.
• Create material BOMs and reports; verify scope and potential cost impacts.
• Develop labor units and installation durations; support EPC and design-build bids.
• Develop and review construction drawings and project layouts; support design reviews.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and maintain project document control.
• Generate procurement-ready material lists; assist procurement in long-lead items.
• Support project execution: budget tracking, change orders, and turnover documentation.
