Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Detailer to perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material analysis, and constructability reviews for substation projects.

This fully remote role supports preconstruction, estimating, procurement, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate budgets and successful bids. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in electrical construction/substations, strong proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Excel, BIM/estimating tools, and experience with Procore,

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in electrical construction and high-voltage substations.
• Experience with utility infrastructure and industrial electrical projects.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with estimating software platforms and BIM tools.
• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint.
• Ability to interpret one-line, three-line diagrams, site plans, and protection & control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Develop material BOMs and cost estimates for EPC and substation projects.
• Create procurement-ready material lists and coordinate with vendors.
• Support constructability reviews during preconstruction and planning.
• Review drawings revisions and maintain project document control.
• Assist with budget tracking, quantity reconciliation, and change orders.
