SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Detailer to perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material analysis, and project detailing for high-voltage substation projects.

This fully remote role supports preconstruction, estimating, procurement, engineering, and operations to ensure accurate budgets and successful bids. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in electrical construction or substations, proficiency with estimating tools and drawings, and familiarity with EPC and utility project

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years in electrical construction or high-voltage substations.
• Experience with utility infrastructure and industrial electrical projects.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Excel.
• Experience with estimating or detailing roles.
• Ability to interpret one-line and three-line diagrams, site plans, and drawings.
• Familiarity with EPC and utility project delivery methods.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings and bid documents.
• Quantify major substation components including foundations, structures, grounding, bus, cables, and terminations.
• Develop BOM summaries and material reports; verify scope and identify cost impacts.
• Create material tracking documents and procurement packages; assist with constructability reviews.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and maintain project document control; support design reviews.
• Assist procurement with vendor quotations, lead times, and material forecasting.
• Support project managers with budget tracking, quantity reconciliation, and turnover documentation.
