The High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager will lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure, including substations, transmission lines, renewable energy interconnections, BESS, and industrial power distribution systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• ~7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from project inception through construction turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals; ensure alignment between estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
