Job summary

EXL Service Holdings, Inc. seeks an independent contractor to perform high‑value residential insurance surveys from home or office in Lincoln, NE and surrounding area.

You will schedule and conduct site-based and virtual surveys, document construction features, take measurements, and generate replacement value estimates using Castle web forms.

Flexibility, self-direction, and reliable equipment are important; training is available and fees are negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction or appraising is a plus.
• A 15 hour online training course can get you certified.
• Fees are negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with homeowners and insurance agents over the phone, via email, and in-person.
• Conduct on-site and/or virtual property surveys on high value homes per customer guidelines.
• Identify and document construction materials/characteristics and unique features of the home.
• Obtain measurements of the home and other structures on the property.
• Generate an estimated replacement value of the home and identify major hazards.
• Communicate information gathered during on-site inspection via web-based forms on Castle website.
