Job summary

Advanced Recovery Systems seeks a Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 IT support across nationwide facilities and corporate offices. You will handle Windows desktop issues, user accounts, and Avatar EHR access with HIPAA compliance.

The role offers remote work with proximity to facilities, on-call rotation, and opportunities to support IT projects and site setups. Prior healthcare IT exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Provides courteous, patient customer service to staff and clinicians across multiple facilities.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots Tier 1 Windows workstation, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Supports Microsoft 365 apps and user accounts; assists with account administration.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security fundamentals and secure handling of PHI.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via portal, phone, email, Teams, and in person.
• Log, prioritize, and manage Help Desk tickets within targets; communicate status to users.
• Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 issues on Windows devices and peripherals.
• Assist with Active Directory, MFA, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Provide first-level support to Avatar EHR users and escalate as needed.
• Set up and deploy devices using Intune; maintain equipment inventory.
• Follow security policies to protect PHI and data.
