Job summary

The Recovery Village is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 IT support across facilities and corporate offices nationwide. You will handle Windows/Microsoft 365 issues, AD administration, and device enrollment while protecting PHI under HIPAA guidelines.

You will also document solutions, support remote access, and assist with IT projects, site moves, and onboarding while occasionally traveling to facilities.

Qualifications

• Windows 10/11 desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) support.
• Active Directory user/group administration fundamentals.
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Printer and peripheral support.
• HIPAA privacy and security fundamentals.
• Drug-Free Workplace Policies; Workplace Violence; Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via self-service portal, phone, email, Teams, and walk-ups; provide remote and on-site support.
• Log, prioritize, and manage Help Desk tickets with response/resolution targets.
• Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 issues on Windows workstations, printers, phones, and peripherals.
• Administer accounts: new hires, terminations, password resets, MFA, groups, mailbox changes in AD/Entra ID/Microsoft 365.
• Provide first-level Avatar EHR user support and escalate application issues.
• Set up and deploy devices using Intune; maintain inventory.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps: Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Assist with remote access/connectivity issues (GlobalProtect VPN, Remote Desktop, Wi-Fi).
• Recognize and report security incidents per incident response procedures.
• Protect PHI and confidential information per HIPAA and company policy.
• Document issues and resolutions for knowledge base.
• Travel to facilities as needed; participate in on-call rotation.
• Assist with IT projects and site setups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
