Job summary

Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to provide on-site technical support and maintain the organization’s technology environment. The role covers support for Windows, Microsoft 365, EHR access, security cameras, printers, phones, and user accounts, with emphasis on confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

The candidate will troubleshoot network connectivity, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and coordinate with vendors, ensuring secure, efficient IT

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field with 2–3+ years’ IT experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
Experience with wired/wireless networks and VPNs.
Experience handling ePHI and HIPAA compliant practices.
Ability to work on-site Wed-Sun 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical support to clinical, administrative, and management staff.
Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot computers, printers, phones, software.
Support Microsoft 365, email, user accounts, permissions, MFA.
Support EHR access and coordinate with EHR vendor.
Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.
Ensure cybersecurity practices and backups.
