Job summary

CHNCT is seeking four QM Nurse Abstractors to support the 2027 HEDIS audit. This remote/hybrid assignment runs January 2027 through May 2027 and may require occasional travel within Connecticut.

Active RN license and HEDIS experience preferred. Responsibilities include conducting medical record abstraction, data analysis in EMR systems, and entering results into HEDIS software with strict quality and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license required.
• Strong knowledge of HEDIS technical specifications and NCQA guidelines.
• Experience in auditing and abstraction of medical records.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare data.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical record abstraction reviews and data analysis.
• Apply specifications to records in electronic and written formats; enter results in HEDIS software.
• Work under supervision to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Pass a medical record abstraction test before starting.
• Project is timed with tight deadlines; maintain accuracy.
