Job summary

SCAN Health Plan is seeking an experienced HEDIS Nurse to abstract data from medical records and engage with members and providers to complete necessary information. The role requires RN/LVN licensure, 2–3 years of related experience, and some leadership exposure, with a focus on medication adherence and quality initiatives.

The position offers remote work with a base wage of $40 hourly, plus medical benefits, paid sick time, and a strong retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• RN or LVN license required.
• 2-3 years of related experience.
• 0-1 years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees.

Responsibilities

• Abstract clinical data from medical records per NCQA guidelines.
• Works to improve quality of care by communicating with members and providers.
• Enters findings into designated database.
• Accurately documents all interactions with members in project records.
• Coordinates with HEDIS staff on data updates and tracking.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
