Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or technical degree required.
• RN or LVN license required.
• 2–3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of the field’s policies, procedures, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Abstracts clinical data from medical records per NCQA guidelines.
• Communicates with members and providers regarding Quality Initiative projects.
• Documents all interactions with members as directed by the project manager.
• Identifies pursuit opportunities and works with pursuit assistants to retrieve information.
• Evaluates information to obtain needed data from members/providers.
• Pursues missing data to complete records review within project timelines.
• Coordinates with HEDIS staff for updating and tracking medical records for reporting.
• Maintains professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
