Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a temporary HEDIS Medical Record Analyst to retrieve and abstract data from EMR/EHR systems for HEDIS reporting. The position runs for about 4–5 months with a base pay of $41–$48 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities include collecting records, documenting progress, and communicating with provider offices. Employment is non-benefited with potential work-from-home options and a focus on data accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing or related field with 3 years of clinical experience with medical records.
Experience navigating EMR/EHR systems and understanding clinical processes.
Familiarity with HIPAA and coding conventions is a plus.

Responsibilities

Retrieve, abstract, or over-read medical records to capture data elements for HEDIS reporting.
Collect records from EMR/EHR systems and document retrieval progress and findings.
Communicate with provider offices and document abstraction results for quality improvement.
Abstract clinical data elements for HEDIS, such as screening dates and lab results.
Coordinate with team on retrieval strategies and follow up as needed.
