Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking a HEDIS Medical Record Analyst for a temporary assignment in the Northwest. The role involves retrieving and abstracting medical records to support HEDIS reporting and quality improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have strong medical terminology knowledge, experience with EMR/EHR systems, and familiarity with HIPAA. The position is non-benefited and based in Washington with preferred residency in WA, ID, OR, or UT.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in team environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
• Experience with HEDIS medical record retrieval/abstraction is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, abstract, or over-read medical records for HEDIS reporting.
• Collect medical records from EMR/EHR systems and log receipt of documentation.
• Enter abstracted data into HEDIS databases and support QA activities.
• Document retrieval progress and communicate with provider offices.
• Assist with data element abstraction for specific HEDIS metrics.
