Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking an HEDIS Medical Record Analyst for a temporary role in the Northwest. The role focuses on retrieving, abstracting, and reviewing medical records to support HEDIS reporting and quality improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have HIPAA knowledge and experience with EMR/EHR systems. The position offers an hourly wage of $41.00–$48.00, with preference for candidates in WA, ID, OR, or UT.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated command of medical terminology and clinical processes.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, abstract, or over read medical records for HEDIS reporting.
• Collect records from EMR/EHR systems and review for required documentation.
• Abstract data into HEDIS database to support reporting and quality improvement.
• Document retrieval progress and findings for each EMR accessed.
• Communicate with provider offices professionally.
• Review records to abstract specified clinical data elements (e.g., breast cancer screening dates, lab results).
• Document abstraction findings on appropriate tools as directed.
• Suggest pursuit strategies to team as per department policies.
