Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is hiring Customer Service Representatives to provide first-call resolution for members and providers. This full-time, work-from-home role offers a structured 12-week virtual training and opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized healthcare employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Two years of customer service experience (Required).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and navigating multiple systems while assisting customers.
• Ability to handle feedback, adapt practices, and communicate with diverse audiences.
• Healthcare, insurance, benefits, and/or claims processing exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound and/or outbound phone-based customer service with first call resolution.
• De-escalate calls and educate callers with clear information.
• Follow up, document issues, and route inquiries for further investigation.
• Handle sensitive information following PII/HIPAA practices.
• Maintain performance, attendance, and meet quality metrics.
