Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is hiring Customer Service Representatives to provide first-call resolution for members and providers across multiple western states, including Idaho. The role supports inbound/outbound calls, requires strong communication, and delivers accurate information with empathy.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Two years of customer service experience in related fields.
Ability to defuse conflict and address customer concerns with empathy and respect.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent while handling live calls.
Ability to adapt communication style to broad audiences.

Responsibilities

Provide inbound and/or outbound phone-based customer service with first-call or email resolution.
Research and document issues; escalate where needed.
Follow up on pended items and route documents to correct departments.
Maintain PII protections while handling sensitive information.
Perform duties with reliable attendance and performance against metrics.
Other duties as assigned.
