Job summary

CareXM is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to provide after-hours scheduling and operational support for our field nursing and clinical teams. This remote, part-time role ensures timely patient visits and efficient visit logistics to support high-quality home healthcare.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with scheduling in healthcare. Weekend and holiday availability is expected, with flexibility to cover PTO and shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional healthcare administration, patient care, or home health scheduling experience.
• Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a remote, fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assign visits and scheduling tasks in the HCHB EMR to support field clinicians.
• Monitor EMR workflows to ensure timely documentation of scheduling tasks.
• Prioritize and triage scheduling requests based on urgency and patient care needs.
• Communicate with triage and field clinicians regarding visit assignments and schedule changes.
• Work autonomously in a structured remote environment while managing a dynamic scheduling caseload.
• Respond to scheduling requests promptly with accuracy and efficiency.
• Escalate critical issues to leadership when needed.
• Maintain productivity and participate in meetings or training.
