Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract customer service specialist to support urgent care, credentialing, and healthcare-related inquiries. This 100% remote role is based out of Fort Smith, AR, with open Monday–Friday availability and responsibilities including inbound/outbound calls, billing questions, and case documentation.

The position requires 1+ year in a high-volume call center and healthcare setting; compensation is hourly with fringe benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service in a high-volume call center.
• Experience within a healthcare setting is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer service calls related to urgent care, credentialing, referrals, dental services, VA personnel, and veterans urgent care.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to provide updates, resolve issues, and complete case management activities.
• Address billing, account, and claims-related inquiries while providing accurate guidance and support.
• Resolve customer concerns on first contact whenever possible and resolve complex issues according to established procedures.
• Document all customer interactions, case details, and resolutions accurately in company systems.
