LHH is seeking an experienced Controller to lead financial operations for a growing healthcare services organization. You will work directly with the CFO, guide a team of accounting professionals, and own the close process, financial reporting, cash management, audit coordination, and strategic initiatives including acquisitions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of Controller experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading accounting functions within a healthcare organization, ideally with ~$300M in annual revenue.
• Public accounting or external audit experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and consolidated reporting.
• Audits and external stakeholder interaction experience.
• Experience supporting M&A activities is a plus.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting and strong controls.
• Oversee healthcare revenue recognition and related reporting.
• Manage and develop an accounting team.
• Own the administration of Dynamics 365 BC.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules for audit-readiness.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors, lenders, insurers, and regulators.
• Improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls.
• Support acquisition activity and related accounting.
• Oversee ASC 606/842 areas, fixed assets, and consolidations.
• Prepare management reporting and insights for senior leadership.
