Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a seasoned BI/Analytics Administrator to independently configure, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms and servers. You will ensure tool performance, enforce content policy, and train analysts across time zones in a remote office environment.

The role emphasizes Epic Cogito experience and healthcare IT familiarity. You will mentor junior staff, manage security configurations, and drive BI project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience with Epic Cogito and BI tools.
• Experience with Epic Cogito Systems, project management, communications, and system utilization monitoring and auditing.
• Exposure to healthcare IT and BI environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms, systems, and servers.
• Monitor BI tools and systems for optimal performance.
• Ensure content created by developers adheres to policies and best practices; train analysts and end users.
• Provide support for BI/reporting systems including maintenance, upgrades, security changes, testing, license provisioning, and on-call participation.
• Apply security changes and manage access in accordance with policy; consolidate security configurations.
• Manage analytics content lifecycle: audit, monitor usage, retire content per processes.
• Provide documentation for all tasks following standards.
• Manage project work using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Stay informed about healthcare IT trends to drive innovation.
• Mentor junior team members in BI/reporting administration.
