Advocate Health is seeking a BI/Analytics Engineer to independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers across a remote office environment. You will ensure security, licensing, and upgrades, while mentoring analysts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5–7 years in Epic applications and BI tools, Epic Cogito certifications, and strong analytical skills.

Qualificações

• Epic Cogito certifications appropriate to job function; plan to obtain missing Cogito certifications within 5 months of starting first Epic class.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience with Epic Cogito and/or BI tools.
• 5–7 years of experience in Epic applications and BI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers to meet operational needs.
• Monitor analytical and operational BI tools and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor usage to ensure content created by developers adheres to policies, standards, and best practices; train analysts and end users on BI tools; manage upgrades/changes.
• Provide support for BI/reporting systems, including maintenance, upgrades, security changes, testing, license provisioning, issue resolution, and go-lives.
• Apply security changes to BI/reporting systems; manage access per policy; participate in security consolidation for sustainability.
• Manage the lifecycle of analytics content; audit creation to avoid duplication; monitor usage; retire content per processes.
• Provide accurate documentation for all tasks following standards; independently manage project work and requests.
• Stay informed about healthcare environment, EHR and BI technology; drive innovation and mentor junior team members.
• Mentor junior team members and provide expertise in the administration of BI/reporting systems.
