Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting professional for Meritain Health, a major employee benefits administrator. You will support pricing, stop loss strategies, and quotations for a diversified book of business, with a fully remote work setup.

You will develop financial projections, prepare client-facing materials, and collaborate with Sales, Client Management, and underwriting teams to optimize cost of care. Medical insurance experience and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical insurance experience in underwriting, pricing or related areas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop loss.
• Prepare quotations and financial deliverables for prospective and existing business.
• Create financial projections using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies and negotiate terms based on data.
• Collaborate with leaders to assess impacts of custom requests.
• Present to internal/external customers and partners.
• Understand Meritain products and services in depth.
• Support product mix decisions to reduce total cost of care.
