Job summary

CVS Health, via Meritain Health, seeks an Underwriting professional for a fully remote role. You will support pricing, quotations, and fee development for Mid-Market and captive channels, collaborating with Sales and Client Management teams.

Responsibilities include preparing financial projections, stop loss strategies, and presenting to clients. A background in medical insurance, strong communication, and analytical work are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years of applicable medical insurance experience or related roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and consultation to Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop loss strategies.
• Prepare and issue quotations and other financial deliverables for prospective and existing business.
• Prepare financial projections on prospects using financial models in Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies; negotiate terms based on claims data and cost avoidance.
• Work with leaders from key functional areas to understand impacts for custom requests.
• Manage and interpret operational data and apply to fee development and financial analysis.
• Present to internal/external customers, constituents, and business partners.
• Demonstrate understanding of Meritain products and services and strong business knowledge.
• Develop presentations for existing and prospective customers and partners.
• Collaborate with Sales to determine product mix to reduce total cost of care.
