Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and consultation to Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop loss strategies.
• Prepares and issues quotations and other financial deliverables for prospective and existing business while meeting TAT goals.
• Prepares financial projections on prospects using financial models in Excel and Salesforce.
• Marketing and placement of stop loss policies; negotiating terms based on claims data, strategy, relationships, and cost avoidance/reduction efforts.
• Works with leaders from key functional areas to understand potential impacts for custom requests.
• Manages and interprets operational data and applies to fee development and financial analysis.
• Presents to internal/external customers, constituents, and business partners.
• Displays understanding of Meritain products and services with strong business and systems knowledge.
• Develops and participates in presentations to existing and prospective customers, business partners and internal business areas.
• Collaborates with Sales to determine product mix on proposals that reduce total cost of care.
