Sentara Health is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer to identify and present cost-saving opportunities in policy-related medical costs for Sentara Health Plan. You will assess opportunities using data insights, collaborate with subject matter experts, and drive savings through policy deployment and reimbursement improvements.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Bachelor Level Degree (Preferred).
• 3 years Health plan experience or 3 years Medical coding, required.
• 3 years Health plan claim auditing or appeals, preferred.
• BS/BA/Advanced degree in health care or medical field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Research & assessment of internal payment policies & payment solutions to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Determine strategies or solutions to achieve cost savings such as policy development, criteria, contracts or claims editing.
• Establish relationships with internal & external stakeholders to define, align & deliver payment initiatives and policy development.
