Qualifications

• Six years of office experience with software in work processes; healthcare experience preferred.
• RHIT preferred or current licensure in healthcare field.
• Pass multiple tests with minimum scores (80%+ on several assessments).
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HIM Team work assignments and training.
• Use EMR and Master Patient Index to create and update patient records.
• Process requests for medical records with accuracy and speed.
• Audit records for completeness and data integrity.
• Prepare routine statistical reports as directed by the manager.
• Support quality improvement within HIM workflows.
