Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIM software, EMR systems and record imaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HIM team workflow and training.
• Utilize EMR, master patient index, and chart tracking to create, update and verify records.
• Review documentation to process medical record requests.
• Audit records for completeness and data integrity.
• Prioritize workflows and deliverables for the HIM team.
• Prepare routine statistical reports as directed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within HIM workflows.
• Manage record retrieval, filing, scanning, indexing, and quality review.
