Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Health Education Manager for its Gastroenterology portfolio. This remote role reports to the Senior Manager, Health Education and will lead national HCP education initiatives to address learning gaps and improve patient outcomes.

You will design strategic health education plans, manage timelines and budgets, and build strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality content and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare discipline.
• Knowledge of Canadian healthcare environment and accrediting bodies is a strong asset.
• CHE certification obtained or to be obtained within one year of responsibility for CHE activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct national HCP needs assessments and identify educational gaps.
• Plan and develop a strategic health education plan aligned with needs assessment and brand imperatives.
• Lead design of health education strategies with measurable KPIs to improve knowledge, attitudes and skills.
• Oversee health education plan timeline, scope, budget, and resource utilization.
• Develop and implement digital engagement strategies to enhance HCP interactions.
• Review educational materials to meet quality benchmarks and ethical standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and internal policies (e.g., CMA requirements).
• Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and external HCPs/associations for high-quality content.
• Assess effectiveness through data collection and report insights to stakeholders.
