Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director for International Learning Immunology Gastro Portfolio to lead strategic learning initiatives across brand teams and international affiliates. You will design and deploy learning programs, ensuring alignment with portfolio strategies and regulatory updates.

You will guide a team to develop capable learning solutions, focusing on new product launches and ongoing education across immunology, while fostering an inclusive, high-performance learning culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of learning and instructional design experience.
• 10-15 years of combined learning, sales and marketing experience or related cross functional expertise.
• Experience leading team members directly or in an interim capacity.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills and competencies.
• Experience managing learning curriculums for multiple products and working with portfolio teams.
• Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
• Experience in Immunology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to Brand teams across the Gastro portfolio to assess learning needs and develop learning strategies.
• Ensure portfolio strategy for Gastro is represented in learning programs and solutions.
• Collaborate with International Marketing, Areas, and Affiliates to create learning programs and capability development solutions.
• Lead learning curricula design, alignment with brand strategy, and cross-functional team coordination.
• Lead International Learning workstreams and foster an inclusive team environment.
• Ensure materials follow adult learning and instructional design principles.
