Job summary

Optum is seeking a remote call center associate to support providers and patients across the United States. The role offers full-time hours with shifts in CST/MST/PST/EST and occasional overtime during peak periods.

You will handle prescription status inquiries, order delivery assistance, and documentation in our systems. Strong listening and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Windows and Office applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of customer service experience using phones and computers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls from providers and patients on prescription status inquiries and order delivery assistance.
• Ask questions, listen actively, and document information in computer systems.
• Identify issues and communicate solutions to providers and patients with prescription orders and reorders.
• Make outbound calls to providers and patients on prescription orders and payment issues as needed.
