Job summary

STGi is seeking a Grantee Specialist to support the Head Start TTA team in Region 2 (NY/NJ). The role is remote with travel up to 50% and involves on-site training for grant recipients based on regional assignments.

The position requires strong program design and management background, experience with Head Start standards, and the ability to develop corrective action plans and data-driven improvements. A BA/BS and at least five years in related work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in program/organizational management with Head Start/EHS.
• Experience providing training and technical assistance to grant recipients and working with governing bodies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Travel up to 50% as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, group and virtual TTA to grant recipients on governance, program management and fiscal operations.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans addressing root causes of noncompliance.
• Coordinate with other specialists to integrate management systems for program improvements.
• Maintain timely communication with Regional/Area Office staff on TTA delivery and progress.
